The coating machine generally includes units such as coating, drying, hot pressing, cooling, etc

① Coating unit

According to different machine designs, there are roller coating and scraper coating methods for applying glue. The adhesive coating surface also varies on top, bottom, or film of the fabric material. Different adhesive application methods result in different penetration and film formation of the adhesive on the substrate, which in turn affects the bonding effect. In addition, the presence or absence of patterns on the coating wheel and the pattern of the patterns also affect the difficulty and form of adhesive coating (full surface coating, dot coating, etc.). The coating wheel with special patterns can be combined with corresponding glue to even create high-performance finished products, such as breathability and ultra soft hand feel.

② Drying unit

The availability, length, and drying method of the oven (hot air circulation or infrared assistance) also vary depending on the selected model and roller or scraper coating. The evaporation rate of adhesive solvent is closely related to the drying conditions of the machine, so it is crucial to adjust it to the appropriate temperature required for the material to maintain good adhesion during bonding.

③ Hot pressing unit

The size of the hot press wheel, the level of surface temperature, and the duration of pressure will be related to the evaporation efficiency of residual solvents, the degree of activation of the adhesive, and the quality of the bonding effect.

④ Cooling unit

Before curling, the laminated product is cooled by a cooling wheel, which can promote the crystallization of the adhesive, improve the initial bonding force, and avoid the displacement of the laminated material during coiling.
